History and present of company

Mission of CAT CUT is to produce quality promotional, presentation and decorative products by hard and quality work that will bring prosperity, success and competitiveness to you, our clients.

We want to be your assurance of quality and speed of work, a reliable partner who will give you a helping hand. With a personal approach and maximum helpfulness, we want to solve your problems and fulfill your needs well and quickly at an attractive price.

Thanks to tradition, long experience and continuous effort to enhance our knowledge and expand and modernize our technology base, we offer high professionalism and competence particularly in the large format printing, but also the ability to process large volumes of work comprehensively, fast and on time. All of these are also thanks to a huge and qualified team of our employees.

1994

Our company was founded in 1994. In the first years, scope of activity was around cutting self-adhesive foils, which were applied to the boards, shop windows, business signs, exhibition exposures, etc. We purchased the first large format printer in 1997.

2002

At the end of 2002, we entered the market of solvent, large format printing - advertising segment, which still offers the most economical solution for production of advertisements and presentations. Within few years of our work with large format solvent printing we have constantly been replenishing our machinery with new printers so that we can offer our clients the most effective printing of advertisement.

2007

In 2007, our production moved to new modern premises to allow further expansion and development.

2008

Our latest printing technology (since 2008) is printing technology using UV hardened inks, which allows direct printing on board materials and meets the strictest environmental requirements. Together with this printer, we put into operation also cutting and milling table with the area 2x3 m.

2009

The company still develops dynamically. Like the entire advertising market, also the market of large format advertisement printing is growing, especially XXL large format printing - ie. production of banners, meshes, billboards, citylights, full-area plate on vehicles and much more. Progressive industry of advertisement printing, which has recently been developing the most, is direct printing on board materials using UV hardened inks. We reacted on this trend in 2009 by exchanging one year old UV printer Durst RHO Pictor for its younger, more powerful, more capable and bigger sister – printer Durst RHO 700. We try to respond to market opportunities by increasing production capacity, improving our services, systematic building of the organizational structure, education of our management and the development of production quality control. We try to keep up with the rapid developments in the field of advertising and printing industry, follow the modern trends, offer new technologies and expand the scope of our services.

Production

Production of the company is divided into three sections. Graphic section prepares graphic designs and materials for the production of cut graphics. This section also produces cut graphics on a cutting plotter. Printing section generates about 90% of the production of the whole company. The third section is the assembly section that processes the products of printing machines or cutting graphics into the final shape and installs them on customer requested carrier.

We are celebrating 15 years from the establishment

In 2009, our company celebrates its 15th anniversary. Since 1994, we gained a lot of experience mainly with large format digital printing on various materials, which we now use for benefit of our customers. We have a very wide range of various modern technologies and experienced and quality people who are ready to meet customer needs and requirements. Our credo is to meet our clients’ needs and offer them optimal solutions with an emphasis on quality and favorable price. Besides that we do not want to remain indifferent to the shortcomings and problems of the contemporary world. Therefore, in recent years, we have intensively been dedicated also to non-production activities in the areas of support of charitable and cultural organizations. After all, fifteen years old are almost adults, but also full of ideals and beliefs.
